Sunset Café Saturday – Pops of Color All Around!

Brrrr! It is cold here! I hope you all are staying warm. This week Mr K recovered from his camping weekend and we all did quite a bit of crafting. In the process of watching my children craft, I saw how much they really got absorbed in it. I realize now that we have not had enough of these creative times lately.

One thing that I’ve been missing is color! The sky’s so grey on so many days and the snow and ice are nothing but shades of white. Even when the sky is blue it can be a bit washed out. I  think that our goal here this week is to find and notice color around our lives.

The first two are just a tease. I will fill you all in soon but here’s a peek at what I did last week that involved color.

Where else can I find color this time of year? There aren’t many flowers and leaves that’s for sure. But there are a few things around the house and garden that are still bright.

Of course there are sometimes flowers inside or around the house thanks to lovely husbands!

And I love this angle on our wreath – it just has a fun twist to the lighting.

Where do you find color in the winter? Or do you love the muted aspect of the season? Have a fun week searching for color in your lives!

Peace and health,

Jennifer
