I don’t usually get involved in politics on this blog. I don’t even share much about my profession as a nurse in a metropolitan hospital in the emergency department. But after the events of the past week in the city of Baltimore, that is near and dear to our hearts, I just want to spread some hope and peace to counter the anger and fear. So I’m sharing just a few quotes that might inspire thought and compassion.
“A mind at peace, a mind centered and not focused on harming others, is stronger than any physical force in the universe.” -Wayne W. Dyer
“Every time you feel the need to blame someone for a painful experience, but you choose consciously not to act on that need, you take a step toward love.” -Gary Zukav
“Courtesy counts. Others will thank you.” -sign in New York City
“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.” -Nido Qubein
Peace and health, especially to all my family and friends in Baltimore,
